Received notice today that I received a TIE...Am thrilled to be recognized for my efforts with Tech4Learning- especially with Pixie. This is indeed an honor and one I will share with the Pasco County Educational Foundation. It was through the Foundation that I received a grant to purchase copies of Pixie for Deer Park Elementary.

Gearing up for Summer

Looking at numerous applications for the summer: iLife and iWork for the Mac, Audacity, MovieMaker, PowerPoint, Tech4Learning's Pixie and Frames and Picasa.

Invited to Tampa for an MDE weekend May 16-May 17. Shall see what is in store for the summer. I will be doing 40 hours of summer school and work for USF when I am able.

Will be going to NY for my niece's bridal shower in June.

Pixie Fun

Jeremy Jackson stopped by today. I was happy to introduce him to several fourth graders who used Pixie for digital storytelling last month. Their work is posted here.

Looking forward to sharing Pixie with a class of first graders next. This is part of the job that is fun!
